Climbing blocks in The Vale Park, Acton.
This was the first run out for the fed2. Back then I was still using the Industar 26m lens. The Industar does well enough but it lacks click stops on aperture settings, which means it has an infuriating tendency to “drift” between shots. The lens is also prone to lens flare, (which has a lightroom 4 graduated filter coming in from the left side to compensate). Cheap 40.5mm hoods are available on eBay which can more or less resolve this problem. These hoods also terminate in a 52mm aperture which allows you to use a standard Nikon lens cap.
I just prefer the i61 lens which is far more contrasty and has click stops on aperture.
